Cambridge Master’s degree

My name is Pavel and I created this campaign in order to find required funding for my Master of Finance program at Cambridge. I have been passion to finance all my life and the program is my dream which will probably be a reality with your support. I am planning to work in investment industry after graduation with a focus on renewable energy in order to fight back the climate change.

I grew up in Russia and I am living here right now. Nobody in my family before had been able to study abroad. I always been able to support myself, i.e. I was granted with several scholarship to cover my tuition fees for my bachelor’s degree. However, this time is different.

I applied to Cambridge first two years ago and was admitted successfully. In order to finance studies I applied to Chevening scholarship as a foreign student, but after passing first two stages last round was unsuccessful. Despite the fact that I was awarded a 20% of the tuition fees scholarship from the University I had no other sources of funding except my savings so I had to defer my offer to the next year. Next year the same happened, i.e. I had the offer on my hand, unsuccessful Chevening, 20% of the tuition fees scholarship from the University and COVID-19 in addition so I had to defer my offer again and now this is my third attempt to realize my dream. I have the last attempt with my deferred offer and no University grant this year. I applied for Chevening again third year in a row but the results will be known by the mid-summer. On the other hand, the deadline for payment is set in February.

One year ago, I changed my job in order to increase salary and save more but I still have a shortfall of GBP 39 000. I have exhausted all possible sources of support so this application on this platform is my last chance to realize my dream.
