Hi, I'm Valerie! I'm a Uni Student from Adelaide University - Australia!
I'm hoping to go on a Volunteering trip to Cambodia with Reach Out Volunteers in January 2014 where I will (hopefully =)) be:
- buildling houses for homeless families
- rebuilding an orphanage
- teaching/rebuilding schools so they're safe
- conserving coral reefs so that the villagers can fish again and not STARVE
- working in an Asian Elephant Reserve
Unfortunately, being a Uni student, I can only work on Sundays - so I have very little money!
Currently, I'm trying to raise $600 by next week as the deposit. This is then safe for 24 months.
After that, I estimate that the costs will be around $5000 for flights, program cost & insurance.
I'll probably never have the time to do something like this ever again and I love knowing that I can make a difference with your help! No matter how big or small, or for how long it lasts.
If you donate and I'm successful overall, the group I'm with will be posting an online blog every other day for you to keep up-to-date with our volunteer work!.
