Callil Franscia was diagnosed with HIE. On the day she was born, January 17, 2020, Callie did not cry or make any sound. I was so worried about it, I thought she's not breathing. Few minutes later, I heard her very weak sound... the midwife, immediately put her on oxygen and started to wake her up... after 10 to 15 minutes, we were transferred to our designated room to get some rest. I thought everything was okay. 24 hours later, we went home. As time went by, while enjoying our time with our precious little Callie, we noticed that her temperature was not normal, she had fever and chills. So we rushed her to the hospital, directly to the emergency room... After blood test, the first diagnosis was neonatal sepsis, blood infection, she was admitted immediately. Three days later, her doctor recommended transferring Callie to the ICU, telling me that my baby needed a close monitoring because her condition is getting worse. that time, hypoxia is suspected, even meningitis can be her condition... In the ICU, they put all the necessary apparatus... oxygen, IV's, they monitor her blood flow, heart rate etc... antibiotics, anti seizures, monitoring her sugar counts...the following days, she had to undergo eeg, a week after was cranial ultrasound, next is lumbar path... I can say that she was so tired in all the procedures done for her...after few days, based on the results, it was confirmed, Callie has Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) a type of brain dysfunction that occurs when brain doesn't receive enough oxygen or blood flow for a period of time. The doctors explained that this will be a lifetime battle for her, there will be Developmental delays, and one of the best way to make her overcome this condition is to go for Occupational and Speech therapy.

Aside from that she still needs maintenance for possible seizures... This campaign is for our precious little Calil, 1 year and eight months now but she cannot still sit or crawl. I am humbly asking for your kind heart to help me raise a fund for Callie to win this battle. We keep our faith in God that one day she will be able to walk and talk like her mates. Prayerfully consider helping us with your prayers and donation any amount you are able to give will be much appreciated. Callie's therapy session is 3 times a week according to her Neurologist and Therapist recommendation.

Thank you for your care. And may God reward you for your kindness to our precious Callil

God bless us all.
