Call to save my brother’s life/ Appel à sauver la vie de mon frère/ Llamada a la acción para salvar la vida de mi hermano

Dear friends and colleagues:

Please join me to save the life of my brother Amine Cheloufi. At 42 years old, he is already suffering from a congenital heart condition. Today he also has to fight a cancer. Amine has just been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive T cell lymphoma. For my scientific friends, this is a stage IV ALK negative Anaplastic Large Cell lymphoma. Patients with this type of cancer typically have just around a 50% chance of survival. Because my brother is still young, he has a fighting chance.

For those who don’t know my brother, he is a loving father of two young girls (11 and 9 years old) and a little son who just blew his first candle. Yesterday, he was at home enjoying his wife, his children and a job that he was passionate about. Today after a long hospitalization in an intensive care unit at a hospital in Montpellier, France he is battling a rare and aggressive cancer. It all happened while he was visiting his family during the Christmas holidays in France. He went to the ER following a very high fever. After more than two weeks of investigation, the doctors diagnosed him with this terrible cancer. His family had to go back home despite this difficult time. Unfortunately, being in a foreign country he doesn’t have the right to be treated freely with the latest therapy that combines chemotherapy and immunotherapy. This new treatment that does not exist in his home country could increase his chance of survival. https://www.adcetrispro.com/previously-untreated-salcl-cd30-expressing-ptcl/efficacy

Please join me in helping my brother to cover the cost of the hospital and the best treatment and allow him to come back to his family in good health.

Thank you

Merci
