Hello, everyone. Blessings from my family to yours! 💚
I am Solomon Amuzu, the founder of Call To Nature Permaculture, here in Accra, Ghana. I have spent the past 20 years of my life working hard to grow, share, and protect heirloom seeds here in Ghana. Throughout this journey, I want to give thanks supporters all around the world. We have started developing a Seed Banking project and have began educating the youth and our local community about the importance of growing and saving heirloom seed species, nurturing our bodies with fresh living food and protecting the earth. With your help, we will continue this vision to share not just in our community, but all over Africa and the rest of the world!

Call to Nature Permaculture
Call To Nature’s mission is to care for the Earth, care for people, and share valuable resources by implementing permaculture principles, through farming, heirloom seeds saving, and providing hands-on training related to the importance of the use of permaculture in sustaining the environment and by creating a culture that is inspired by natural ways to produce seeds and food that will resolve food instability.
Our business is one of the best in heirloom seed production in Africa and the first of its kind in Ghana.
Our business relies on unique methods designed with nature in mind, through farming and production of high-quality seeds and food that will eventually lead to the end of food insecurity in many parts of the continent of Africa, and other areas around the world.

Seed Bank Completion Fundraiser (Final Stage)
The Seed Bank is our local project with a grand vision to collect, store, and protect over a hundred thousand seed species from around the world especially to help revive our lost plant species. With this Seed Bank, we can honor the life of all seed species and share their beneficial properties and stories with the world. We will also use the Seed Banking as a platform to educate our people about the essence and importance of saving seeds. The seeds from the Seed Bank will be available to everyone and anyone around the world to purchase and grow at a reasonable cost.
Firstly, we wanted to deeply thank all of our supporters around the world for all of their help, donations, and belief in us for the past projects ranging all the way back from 2015 with our school gardening and tree panting project. Special thanks to our good friends at Baker Creek, Missouri that have helped us initially to raise this base structure for the Seed Bank. We are at the final stage of development for the Seed Bank and we couldn’t have made it this far without your generosity. Help us complete the final stage and bring the Seed Bank to life!
We are in the nearing completion for the Seed Bank, but there still remains a good amount of infrastructure to complete. Now, we have the base structure and can easily envision what the final outcome will look like. What is left to be done is to insulate the 80ft container, add a concrete extension in the front (30×80ft) and to finish furnishing the inside with proper cooling, electrical, ceiling, tiles, windows, doors, and then finally adding a bit of a local culture with some talented Ghana artists.
As per quotes of developers and contractors, we were given an estimation of approximately $22,000 (USD) worth of renovations (parts, labor, etc.) that are left for completion.
- Ceiling Installation $3,000
- Cooling System (AC & Refrigerator) $3,500
- Insulation $2,500
- Electrical Systems $3,000
- Flooring (Concrete & Tiles) $4,000
- Window Designs & Installation $2,000
- Doors ( including transparent glass doors for viewing) $2,500
- Interior Design (Painting, Drawings, & Murals) $1,500
- Labor $2,500 ( Call To Nature taking care of this)
