Calgary Police Career

Hi there, 

My name is Thomas. I reside in Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm 24 years old. I recently applied with the Calgary Police. I wrote both exams and was pleased to hear that I had passed. The next step is to fly out there and do my physical testing, polygraph, and interview.

The kicker is, the expense of travelling there (and accomodations), are on me. I looked into it and estimated about $1200 for flight ($800-900 return) and hotel ($300-$400). The reason I've chose to fundraise for this is because I am too far in debt to make this a viable option for me right now.

Yes, it's a big step in the right direction, but there's no guarantee I am going to get this job. So $1200 is a big risk to take at the moment. I'm reaching out and looking for support. Any bit helps. This could mean a career for me and it's an opportunity I dont want to miss out on due to financial restraints.

I believe in myself and that if I get there, I can prove that I deserve this job.
