Cake Mommy

I’m am a 31 year old artist who has found her love of creativity though creating custom cakes. I fell in love with cakes 5 years ago, when I started working at a shop in New York. I am extremely talented and have a strong desire to be able to expand and grow my cake business. I’m also about to meet another love of my life, my soon to be newborn baby.

I would love to have a larger space for my growing family and cake business to flourish. My current living circumstances do not accommodate for my child and the business I want to create. My goal is to raise money so I can move into a larger place. Being able to rent a house will allow for me to have another refrigerator to store cakes, a work studio to design and create cakes, and a nursery for my new born baby. I would love to be able to grow my business from home and work around the schedule of taking care of my baby, and never having to be too far away.

I’ve already run a cake business back on Long Island, NY. I moved to Austin for the potential of growing and expanding my business in an artistically creative city, and it just hasn’t been as easy to get started as I have imagined. I’ve found myself just working for others, and making their dreams come true. I know I’m capable of so much more, but just need a few helping hands to get back into it.

The greatest part of being able to have a successful business is being able to find my place in giving back to my community as well. As exciting as is it to create cakes for all of my clients, I would love to be able to create birthday cakes for children who would otherwise not be able to afford to have a custom designed cake ordered for them. I want to create a program, called "Tall Cakes for Little People" where individuals can vote for children who are deserving of an extravagant custom designed birthday cake for their birthday.

I would love to have a larger place to expand my business, continue my passion for creating cakes, have a nursery for my soon to be born baby, and add beautiful smiles to children’s faces by surprising them with a custom designed cake on their special day.
