Currently, as many as million's of Filipino are living in crisis due to COVID-19, and millions more are faced with the financial and emotional challenges of caring for a loved one with the virus we are reaching out for assistance. If current trends continue, Corona Virus will hunger many of the families, communities and our healthcare system.
I am writing to you on behalf of the Cabilao Island Community, and all those who are affected with COVID-19. Most of the people in our community got affected with the virus, although there are help from the government, but the agency who are assigned to manage the distribution of the ameliorization assistance narrowed down all the targeted beneficiaries, makes most of the average individual and families impossible to be the recipients of the assistance.
As of the moment, our resources are quite limited due to the implementation of some regulations from transportation, we got restrictions with the curfew from 8pm - 5am which our livelihood like fishermen's cannot go out in the night for fishing because of it.
We do all understand that these measures are good for the community but people cannot rely on the government, they need to eat, they need medicine for maintenance specially for the senior citizens who have no one to depend on.
I plan to raise at least Php 300,000 to support for the people in- need and for the front liners, which provides food, medicine and supplements to our community. The funds will be used to buy supplies and goods will be given equally to each household.
We understand the community has a high fundraising goal and would appreciate your financial sponsorship. Cabilao community has already started fundraising by accepting donations. Your contribution of any amount would greatly help the community program reach their goal in time for our October 31 deadline.
I know I can do this with your support. Would you please consider making a donation?
This Fundraiser is private and not associated with any company or corporation.
Thank you in advance for your time and generosity.
Cabilao Island, Loon
