OUR SKYDIVE!!
We recently did a survey and found 1 in 6 people from Canterbury Christ Church University know someone who has suffered or is suffering from Alzheimer's and a staggering, 3 in 5 of us from sports teams at CCCU also know someone who has suffered or is suffering from Alzheimer's. The majority being grand parents and family friends.
Therefore, as two clubs of the sports society, C4 Netball and CCCU Lax, we have decided to raise money by doing a charity sky dive for Alzheimer's Society. A total of 20 members from our clubs, will be doing the jump and many of us will be doing the skydive in memory of grandparents and family members who we have recently lost.
The proposed date for the skydive is 31st May 2014.
We aim to raise over £7000 for the charity jump with £6400 going to the Alzheimer's society. We have already raised a substantial amount of money for the skydive and am aiming to go higher!
With your help, we can reach our total and be able to give as much money to the Alzheimer's Society as possible!
