Bypass Surgery

I'm 38 years of age with 4 kids and married for 19 years. I'm the only bread winner in the family and was diagnosed with a severe three-vessel coronary artery disease that is in need of a bypass surgery.

I do not have the resources to cover the entire amount of the operation. I applied for the Philhealth Z package which if approved is going to grant me an amount for the surgery. However, there is a waiting list as a lot of people are applying for the z package and there is limited resources due to the current pandemic. My doctor advised that this level of coronary disease needs to be addressed immediately.

Due to the current health crisis I will need to wait for the hospital to advise when they resume their normal operation and as such puts me in a critical situation to raise funds as application for the Z package are currently on hold.

My family and I are doing everything we can to make up for the amount. We were able to secure parts of the fund through donations from family and co-workers. I also received assistance from our local government. There are other institutions that we approached and applied for medical assistance, but like the Z package there is a waiting period and no guarantee of approval.

I'm currently on 10 different meds as maintenance supporting me prior to receiving my operation. Funds that we were initially able to receive are being used in some ways because the medicines are not cheap.

Setting up a fund raiser is one of the ways we thought of to produce additional funds for my operation.

Please help me in getting a shot in extending my life to be with my family for a longer period of time.
