Buying my friend a laptop for university

Greetings people, My name is Ravintiaran & I'm 19 years old. I'm from a little town Kamunting located in the state of Perak, Malaysia. I have no idea if this would work or not, but I'm just giving it a try because i couldn't do anything much more. After my Malaysian Certificate of Education, I pursue my studies in Computer Science at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). I met a lot of new people and friends here. I'm currently in the 4th semester and I have a friend who is in the same class as me. He's name is Srekumar , a guy from a poor family from Kedah, Malaysia. Recently, he had went through a lot of sour moments in his life. He is a excellent student with CGPA of 3.72. Few months back before the semester break, his father had a heart-attack which the family had to pay for the medical bills. They had to borrow money from someone for the medical bills, a few weeks later, Srekumar's younger brother had passed away due to a infection in his brain. will all this going on, Srekumar had to sell his laptop to at least support a little bit of his family's financial problem. Now, he's in the next semester and he don't have laptop to even revise his notes to study. He's a computer science student people, he got to do a lot of assignments and homeworks through his laptop. A laptop is a must for him to continuing his studies. I'm from a poor family too, My father is a retired technician for the past 7 years, and my mom is a house wife. I would do the best for my friends and the people i know, but I couldn't afford to anything to this friend. Please people, this is a life of a bright student. I pray to the god hoping that, somehow, people are going to help him.
