Burj’s ABA, Speech and Occupational Therapies for 6 months (Autism)

I am Safia Macapundag from the Philippines. I am creating this GoGetFunding account for my son Burj Edward.

He was diagnosed with mild autism at age 3. We tried to support at least 1 therapy however it was really hard to sustain.

Burj is high functioning and verbal. He is very smart. He learned to count and recite ABCs as early as 2 years old. At 3 years old he can count 1-30 in English, Chinese Fokien , Spanish and Tagalog.

He can read children books at age 3.5 and can spell 8 letter words at age 4. He is almost like any other kid however he can't sense danger, he can't communicate well though he follow commands, he is sensitive to certain sounds and he is very hyper. He barely sits in his classes. He is currently enrolled in a public SpEd.

I am very thankful to whatever help I can get to support my son. This is for his future and the hope that he can be independent someday.
