Bullhead looks to break 100 MPH with all new bottom design and needs your help.

Bullhead Designs looks to produce a 100mph+ in a safe and comfortable riding 25' specifically designed powerboat using only 420hp.

Since the late 90's boat prices have soared upwards and now performance boating is only available to higher middle class and the wealthy. As Mercruiser/Mercury Racing raised their prices so did the boat companies. And instead of making their hulls more efficient, they just added more horsepower instead. Bottom design still has a ways to go in efficiency, the step bottom helped with around 5 mph with the same horsepower but that is not enough. Our new hull design, RRS-V or Raised Running Surface v-bottom has the potential of adding 10 to 15 mph with the same horsepower. This will allow us to build performance boats with less horsepower and a much lower cost to the consumer, including a smaller cost of ownership.

In the words of the Legendary Doug Smith, original owner and creator of Baja Boats, "We build a quality boat at an affordable price", I still believe that to be possible today. Doug Smith built a performance boat dynasty in the late 80's and 90's wanting to bring boating to everyone, not just those with deep pockets, and he achieved this and more. Baja today still has more loyal customers than any other performance boat company.

Bullhead designs wants to recreate this type of boat company that can bring performance family boating back to the masses, as we feel everyone needs to be able to experience family boating.

Goal: Lake Havasu Boat Show and Shootout.

We seek funding to create this concept boat and unveil it at the Lake Havasu Boat show and Shootout, and then to the Miami Boat Show.
