Bullet Proof Vests for Ukraine

Hi, my name is Suavek Lobrow and after watching the war news for three weeks nonstop I decided to go to Poland where I worked as a volunteer helping the Ukrainian refugees. In my third week in Warsaw, I met group of people from Open Dialogue Foundation (ODF), a local non-profit, who were delivering uniforms and bullet proof vests to Ukrainian soldiers and military volunteers.

After spending time with them helping them move into their new warehouse and setting up their new assembly line I am now raising money to help them manufacture and transport protective gear like bullet-proof vests to civilian volunteers and soldiers fighting in Ukraine.

Our family has already donated $5,000 to ODF and I hope all of us would be able to collect another $20,000. This amount would supply an additional 40 bullet proof vests and other supplies that will save lives!!! I worked with them on the ground in Poland and saw first hand their commitment to saving the lives of Ukrainians.

• $450 Donation will purchase materials, manufacturing and delivery of one Bullet Proof Vest with 6 mm Hardox500 plates.
• $525 Donation will purchase materials, manufacturing and delivery of one Bullet Proof Vest with 8 mm thick Hardox500 plates.

ODF was founded around 2010 to defend human rights and to promote democracy & the rule of law in the post-Soviet countries. Their organization became very well known for their actions supporting EuroMajdan in 2014 in Kiev.

ODF’s current focus is to use nonmilitary technology together with surplus materials from military and to create personal protection Class III and Class IV bullet proof vests and the other protective equipment. Some of these guys are risking their lives making deliveries to their distribution warehouse in Kiev. This during the active war with the Russian military surrounding and attacking the capitol of Ukraine!!!
