COVID-19 is devastating nations, countries and territories. It devours cities, where both the rich and most specially the poor are directly hit. In the southernmost part of the Philippines, in the island of Mindanao, communities are shut, roads are closed and livelihoods are affected, staging hunger and hopelessness to the people-which in these photo are our FARMERS. Most of our farmers have no food, clean water, and even medicine for sickness. They are even crawling in desperation nowadays because they don't have money to buy food amidst massive lockdowns. This photo shows my friend, Rosalyn, a nurse, traversing mountains and crossing rivers to reach them and check their health. They are now considered Persons under Monitoring due to the infamous Coronavirus disease.
We are eyeing to help them and three more communities: Concepcion, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines, Tolosa, Zamboanga City, Balinsungay, Mercedes, Zamboanga City.
We need your help! Save our farmers! Help us raise 10000 for three communities of more than 700 families.
Some of them live in small nipa huts waiting for help.
There is a need to cross rivers to get a glimpse of them. Photo taken at Barangay Tolosa, Zamboanga City, Philippines, 7000.
We need to bring survival kits, medicines, basic food, water, help and hope to them. We need these things badly as the lockdown will extend until middle of April 2020.
Please help us help them.
We badly need each other's back at these times of crises. Your help will surely be treasured as it will save hundreds of lives!
