ABOUT THE FILM

It is a magical realism film that involves the protagonist manipulating her office through the miniature replica model of the office space she created. Lou, our protagonist is a talented and hardworking architect graduate but yet her timid personality and the company’s toxic culture made her experience trouble in being promoted. When her only friend in the firm, who is a newcomer, betrays her for an opportunity that she has been coveting, she ends up resorting to the magical abilities that she discovers from her miniature to overcome her own disadvantageous work situation. Yet, in the end, she inevitably conforms to her firm’s toxic company culture as her sense of individuality begins slipping away.

As the film requires intensive office space set design and the detailed work of a miniature model created, we will need extra support on our funding.

Through this film, we hope to talk about society, specifically, the workforce. It’s like how the society we live in has shaped us to have this desire and need to keep on climbing to the top, and sometimes that is done through conforming. Be it by stepping on others or grooming ourselves to fit in, and how often at the end of it, we end up losing ourselves and who we are as individuals.
