Building Families

Family is where life begins. Without family, life may seem to have a constant emptiness. We love our families dearly and long to give that to other children whether through foster care or adoption. Through foster care we can provide love, structure, consistency, security, and family unity. These are the keys to a healthier childhood that will provide foster children with the love and support needed to get back on track. Eventually we hope we are fortunate enough to adopt. Through adoption we can permanently add a child to our strong family unit. We both have two strong, loving, supportive families and are truly blessed ourselves. Doesn't every child deserve that whether it is through birth into a biological family, for a time with a loving foster family or through finding a forever family through adoption. The foster care system does provide minimal financial assistance but not nearly enough to cover the high costs of day care. Adoptions are extremely expensive and we would like to be able to help a child when the opportunity arises versus when or if we are able to afford it. It is our hope that others kindness will help us attain the ability to support a child when the need arises. There are so many children out there in need of a loving, caring, trusting, and secure family environments. It is important to us to be able to provide this to a child through your generous donations that will help us provide a stable home for children through foster care and adoption. We are asking for others kindness in helping us help children through foster care and adoption by donating to our fundraiser.
