Campaign Story
Learning English is important at many stages of Thai people's lives from school and university to the workforce. Even though many of them know English, they lack confidence because they don't get enough practice speaking it in meaningful ways. Our school aims to improve their confidence and to help them succeed at English communication. We are a small family school, which is conveniently based in our village in Nakhon Pathom, run by husband and wife team, Mike and Ariyaphorn. I am Mike, the English Teacher at the school. I have had over 10 years experience Teaching English as a Second Language, which includes five years teaching in Thailand. I can speak Thai, have a good knowledge of Thai culture, and know how to bring out the best in my students. Ariyaphorn is the Director of the school. She is a Thai woman who is respected in the community and passionate about helping the locals improve the quality of their lives through education.
More and more villagers want to study with us, but we urgently need your help to buy more teaching and learning resources such as books, supplies, a printer, and a laptop computer for our school.
We are only asking for a modest amount just enough to provide for the school's basic needs. Every cent counts and such donations of good will contribute to a brighter future for less fortunate people in a developing country.
Kind Regards Mike & Ariyaphorn
