Campaign Story
Yesterday it was so hot I could hardly stand it so I walked ten minutes to the other side of this tiny island in search of some wind. When I got to the beach I looked out at the waves and saw my friend on his uncle's boat. He had left at 5:30 in the morning and was still working so hard 12 hours later, for such a small amount of money ((about 200 pesos, or 4US).
He and his family are currently working extra hard to save some money to build a new house to seek safety and a new life away from an unaafe relative. 500 US should cover the cost of wood, nails, cement, and other materials to build a new place for this very sweet family, and anything you are willing to offer is so so appreciated.
The trip to the mainland to buy materials is already scheduled and the contractor has agreed to the budget, etc. I will be completely in control of the funds and will be present during trips for materials to ensure the money is ONLY used for building. xo Thank you xo
