Building a Dream. Building Kkum Upcycled Cafe

Hello! My name is Javi and I'm a dream chaser. I am currently working free lance. I'm a free lance event manager, photographer, tutor, and writer. Free lance working is fun most especially when you're doing the things you love right? But I guess at some point we have to engage and focus on things that will suffice your needs. I made a lot of mistakes and got caught in a lot of setbacks in the past but I will never stop dreaming no matter how hard the situation is.

Although I have a lot of interest , I consider entrepreneurship as the most important one. Entrepreneurship is one of my greatest passions, like literally. I've been dreaming to build my very own cafe that values sustainability since I was young. To be honest I really don't have enough savings to build one. But I cannot let my dreams go to waste and I decided that I should follow my heart and start this venture from utilizing what I have and seeking help to those who have the heart to help. I did a lot of research and ended with the upcycle concept. With this kind of cafe concept I will be able to minimize the renovation expenses and at the same time it will offer a unique feel to my future customers. Nowadays, there is a huge opportunity to upcycle trash and turn them into new products. So I wanted to embrace and grab that opportunity and turn my idea into once concrete wall of reality. Building this cafe is like realizing one of my biggest dreams as well. I will pour my heart out and solely dedicate myself in this cafe. I will do things will all my might and always out my best foot forward in everything I do.

KKUM CAFE - Kkum is a Korean word for "DREAM". I named this venture as, "KKUM CAFE" because it is my dream to own a sustainable cafe. This cafe will not just create opportunity for myself but also for the environment and for the people around me. The cafe will not just serve as a place where you can eat and spend your spare time. I wanted to give a welcoming ambiance to my customers and make them feel the warmth of home with our home-cooked delicacies. Kkum Cafe will serve as a place where people can create happy memories with family and friends.

We all have something to share with the world. We are all dreamers and we can all become achievers with heartfelt effort and commitment. I hope that you will help and stay with me as I build and realize this dream. Thank you and God Bless us all! :)
