Building a Better Future with Better Education

As we all know this pandemic has affected our lives in every way possible. For most of us, the way we receive education has drastically changed, but we are still privileged enough to attain it. Unfortunately, this is not the case for most people living in India. As a result of Covid-19, education has completely halted and the future of millions of students has been put on the line.

As the pandemic continues to get under control in India, schools are expected to start their academic years through physical classes. Unlike the US, it is not easy in India to set up online classes through online platforms: access to the internet and required devices are also not viable because of many reasons varying from socio-economic problems, geographical accessibilities, and lack of resources. The status quo will remain unchanged if we do not take action.

Our Initiative

We are looking to support a government school in New Delhi, teaching 400 secondary school students on their campus in RK Puram, New Delhi.

It is sad that everyday we generally talk a lot over the issues which are persistent in the society and do nothing about them. During this pandemic we saw some of the teachers taking the challenge of changing everything in the life of their unique kids by bringing every single thing that is needed for the kids despite the grim situation around the world.

As a citizen, we want to take every single possible approach towards the visions of children for the reimagined education, and this is not possible without the help of our society.

Hence, We request everyone to join hands in this initiative because as we say " It takes the Village to Raise a Child" and help in unleashing the potentials each child has.

The fund raised will be used for-

1. Development of reading infrastructure: Expand library, Purchase of reading materials, Dictionaries.
2. Printing and stationery: Copies of study material, worksheets, assessments, and activity books
3. Educational trips: Entrance fees, transport, other logistics
4. Co-curricular opportunities: Training and coaching fees, sports kits, and materials, other expenses
5. Smart Learning Infrastructure: Computer labs with high-speed internet connectivity.
6. Development of classroom infrastructure: Speaker, Projectors, E-learning infrastructure
