I learned to build my first PC in the late 2017, after 6 months of learning it through YouTube (thanks YouTube!)
Specs : Ryzen 5 1600X, Corsair H80i AIO, G.Skills Trident Z 8GBx2 3400Mhz RAM, Asus GTX1070 Dual card, Gigabyte GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI motherboard, SilverStone 650w (Gold rated) SFX power supply unit and a 1TB Western Digital Black, all built into a Fractal Design Define Nano S.
Yes, it's a sweet machine. With that, in the early 2018 I started building my first Ethereum 10 GPU mining machine. Yup, learned it from You Tube too. It was all great until prices began to crash. Lost a lot of money and had to sell all the mining hardware, almost all at half price, or less. Sigh.
But my interest for building pc did not wane. I truly enjoy it. Putting the processor in the motherboard, then the RAM, screwing it down into the motherboard, connecting the power connectors to the board, to the hardisk, fans and other stuff, then finally, slotting in the GPU into the pci-e slot. Turn on the power button. After installing Windows 10 and drivers, it was alive. Not bad for a person that learned all from You Tube in 6 months.
WIth the dawn of Nvidia RTX, I would love to build an ultimate PC base on the card. Sounds a bit greedy? I already have a good gaming PC, but another one? Well, yea. And this time it will have a name. An all white PC that I will call "Zeus".
Specs : Intel Core i7-8700K, Captain 240EX White RGB AIO, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (White) DDR4 8GBx2 RAM, NZXT N7 Z370 motherboard, 250GB Samsung Evo M.2 SSD, 1TB Western Digital Black, Galax RTX 2080 Ti HOF (White) gpu, and to be built in an NZXT H500i Case.
The only thing that I need now is the fund to do it. If I do get enough fund, I'll do the pc build You Tube (look for me, You Tube username "Ben Laeng") video and I'll give away the my 1st pc to someone deserving for free. I'm doing this because I truly enjoy building PCs and seeing it coming alive. Let's do this and thank you!
