Build for Change: a story of a nomad

Who doesn’t know a kid that dreams high?

Well I was that kid!! I dreamt of becoming a civil engineer, have a farmhouse, horses, a pool and a family with adopted kids.

I grew up and the dream fell into oblivion; society did its best to get me out of my path doubting about such future, away from building education. I then changed my life and the dream awoke!! I start to travel and my hopes reborn, I grew independent and more confident, assured about myself and what I really want, facing the challenges of nomadic life seeking for answers within and without. One by one the answers came (and still come), in a wide variety of forms with deep intense lessons for life.

I then rediscover the passion for building houses and again I dream of having a farmhouse, with horses and a family; this time not to become a civil engineer but a Natural Builder!!

This fund-raising aims to help me paying my studies, plus living costs, flight ticket and visa:

- 5000€ the course

- 700€ (at least) for flying ticket
- 160€ for visa

- Living costs for 6 months in USA

as well to spread not only the SIMPLE building process, but as well the living concept of Natural Building. Therefore, I bumped into a technique called: SuperAdobe or EarthBags!

I don't intend to stop moving, to stop travelling, BUT YES at the same time to develop a Tool to bring the change to others, like me, who seek for answers and cant find them! I hope to volunteer, help refugees, provide shelters, teach, inspire, give workshops, build my own house and Promote Community Living in a world where we grow more apart from each other, ourselves and Nature.

In the progress of my donations I will update you with pictures and some of my travelling stories and my learnings. How easy is to travel spending less and still get richer, how I got in “prison” in Iran, how did I got lost with -30° in the forests of Sweden, how I hitched from Europe to India in 1 year, how I slept in a 4* hotel for free, even how I end up in Father Ted house (one of the most famous sitcom shows in Ireland); how is the life of truck driver, a drug dealer, a fisherman, the reality of the people who work in construction sites. What is Love and what is Happiness!!
