build a school for the poor community

This project will build an elementary school for a very poor community with an illiteracy.Adult education will be provided during weekends to help curve illiteracy.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Due to the fact that the community lacks a structurally sound school that is able to offer the full cycle of a primary school education. Many kids can't attend school and the community is faced with the harsh realities of illiteracy: burning and cutting trees for farming, chronic alcoholism and backwardness. This project will affect more than 1000 kids and the well-being of the entire community.

How will this project solve this problem?

A structurally sound school will provide the environment for learning to read and write for all kids. It will therefore be an avenue of knowledge that is being disseminated in the community.

Potential Long Term Impact

The school will significantly reduce illiteracy in the community. It will help promote best practices in the areas of health, farming and the environment. It will also help reduce alcoholism and drog consumption. Over 10,000 inhabitants will be benefit from the project.
