Buffalo a Home to Roam

The Natural Green Buffalo is urgently needing a new home. We have a three year licence to occupy that is not being honored. This means our milk production will stop, after just six short months of production. This will effectively end our new venture here in Northland. We are truly devastated by this as we have spent countless hours with our herd socializing them and working out routines to best support their unique personalities. Our family has put everything into creating a safe and healthy environment for our buffies and we require some monetary support to continue at a new location.

We chose vibrant Maungaturoto, Northland as our home base to raise our children, run our business and give back to the community.We do not want this to end because of a conflict of interest with an adjoining business who is failing to respect our personal and business boundaries.

Our buffalo deserve a safe place to roam, wallow and produce their beautiful milk! We have personal consumers, stockists and cheesemakers who rely on a high quality, responsibly produced product but when animals are stressed, they are not at their best. Our 'on farm' is lacking water and shelter for our buffies which creates a stressful environment for them and our loving farmer who tirelessly cares for them- 365 days a year!

Please help us relocate and keep our business- our dream- alive! Funds being collected are going towards fabricating a portable milking facility so that we can utilise grazing blocks and come to our animals in this heat instead of them having to walk long distances to a refurbished milk shed.
