Buboy’s Fight: A father’s fight for his life

He is Rodrigo Duarte.

At first you'll do a double-take on his name because it resembles that of the Philippines' president. While it may be wrong, he is likewise still a "leader" of his own family.

His life has never been easy.

He is a father (and a mother) to his 3 kids who all still goes to school. He earns to support his family by doing messengerial work in his older sister's agency.

His family lives in a poor urban settlement in one of the areas in quezon city, surviving everyday just to cover their daily needs in life, even having not enough at some days.

He toils everyday, delivering documents rain or shine, walking around the busy streets of manila, to be able to provide for his 3 kids. It was hard work as usual, until he collapsed before eating his hard earned lunch July 2, 2019.

Rushed to the nearest hospital in a race against death, the doctor found massive bleeding in his brain. He needed to undergo medications and surgery to remove the blood clots.

Right now, he is in coma, at Makati Medical Centre. His 3 kids are knocking at the doors of your hearts to help them financially so that they can pay for their father's medical and hospital expenses. At this time, transferring to another institution to save on costs is unlikely because he is in critical condition and cannot be transported. He will need to stay in the ICU for a few more days/weeks, and when his body is ready, he can then be allowed to undergo the surgery.
