Hello! Sawadee Ka!

Thank you for taking the time to join us in our desire to assist our son and daughter in law in their passion for rescuing the 'underdog', particularly the bully breeds. They recently stumbled upon a dog farm, breeding dogs. Many dogs! Without going into too much detail about the conditions of this farm, they fell in love with and showed us 2 dogs in particular; a female they named Bua 2months, and a male they named King Kong 3months. Bua (lotus flower in Thai), had burns, from urine and feces on her face and body. King Kong has a condition named "Carpal Laxity Syndrome" which can be caused from malnutrition and lack of exercise. King was stuck in a crowded crate until he was rescued. We helped them purchase the puppies and with the medication they needed to heal the burns, their vaccines, crates, and food. King's condition requires a lot of exercise, so they have started hydrotherapy, which they both love. We have purchased 2 pools for them, one for introduction and a larger one for actual therapy. They have had to construct areas on their property for the larger pool and an appropriate outdoor kennel. Their new pets need extensive needs and health care to continue progress. In just a few short weeks, with meds, vaccines and loving attention and care, their demeanor has already been noticed by the Veterinarian. There is much to do, however, and any donation would be so much appreciated. We will keep everyone updated on their progress with photos and videos.

Please accept our deep appreciation in advance for any interest or charitable donation toward their cause and future endeavours of saving and rescuing puppies from this sad environment.

A vet visit!

Update posted by Julie Smith at 02:16 am

The Vet is pleased with the progress in Bua and King. Bua is being treated for a bacterial infection and the pool for King's hydrotherapy is almost complete. King exercises every day to build up the muscles in his legs and feet. All happy and content. 🙂
