We are building a company for tomorrow’s man. Combining an elite Barber with a global NBA all star for the initial creation of 3 products solving the needs of African Americans and high level melanin skin types.
The men’s grooming market is growing and Brooks Cosmetics is here to capitalize on it. With our first product line, Brooks Cosmetics, we have created a line specifically catering to people of darker skin. It’s been proven that skin with higher melanin runs a greater risk for razor bumps and scarring from shaving. We have taken this information and created products that help prevent and treat these skin conditions. Using natural ingredients created by experts, we are making products that will make a difference in the lives of many.
All skin is different, but we are treating it exactly the same
There is an ongoing issue in the way we treat men’s skin, especially their faces -- we are pretending that people from every cultural background should take care of their skin in the same manner. This create a problem. People with higher melanin levels are often more prone to developing ingrown hairs, scarring and lack of moisture, but there aren’t many products out there, that are specifically catered to their needs. We are creating a masstige premium brand serving multicultural and millennial consumers.
