AU$1,816.00Donated So Far
Recently (April 2022) I received the life-changing diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma. Following emergency surgery to remove a large tumour from my spine that had been responsible for a rapid decline in my health that had led to me being wheelchair-bound, I found out that I had stage four cancer that had spread throughout my lymphatic system.
I am currently awaiting a long and hard battle over the next 6-12 months that will involve a heavy regime of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. In light of my losing employment due to illness, this fundraiser is designed to support the costs related to my care, living, and my wellbeing. This will include costs such as travel to treatment, the cost of food, funds to contribute to hairpieces needed due to chemotherapy, the cost of private medication and costs related to my self-care and wellbeing.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank those able to support my cause and for those who back Team Brooke during these difficult times. Any amount however big or small is greatly appreciated and helps make this battle just a little easier.

So the first round of chemotherapy was a couple of days ago and today the side effects have hit HARD. Some of it was expected, some very much not so. Just trying to take it as easy as possible whilst still dealing with the day to day as well.Thank you
