Bronwyn’s Breast Cancer Journey

I am starting this GoGetFunding for my sister whom is a 33yr old Recently Separated, Single Mum to two young children Naomi and Victor, she is a beautiful soul inside and out, has always worked hard looking after he family and other people’s children in the comfort of her own home and she also recently finished studying her diploma in beauty therapy, she was making a move to give up looking after children to focus on her home beauty therapy business. On the 27/09/2019 she had breast cancer confirmed in her right breast. This news brought her entire world to a standstill, moving forward with her home business ceased and she had to give up work anyway to focus on her health and getting better. We are a very close-knit family and are all pitching in where we can with time off of work and making sure the kids have everything they need as well as some normalcy. We got some good news on Christmas eve that the chemotherapy was working and has downsized one lump from 10mm to 6mm and has reduced the width of her biggest lump and her lymph nodes are a normal size. At this stage we are waiting for genetic testing to come back, she starts weekly chemotherapy this week, and will be looking at surgery in March/April dependant on the results of the genetic testing this will either be a lumpectomy or and mastectomy, then after surgery she will move onto radiation. Any contributions made will go towards helping to ease the pressure and stress on sister’s and the kid’s daily life, help send the kids back to school with only a Centrelink income getting her and the kids through, things are pretty tight. We are extremely hopeful that her body will respond well to the treatment and we can continue with our lives moving forward I will continue to post updates on this platform in regards to her journey and how life is going.
