Broken Retainers and teeth problems

I am too afraid and shy to ask money from my parents -- to get a new set of essix retainers (Invisalign).

We have been on a rough state right now, that I do not want them to be worried. I broke both my retainers due to lack of knowledge on how to take care of it. My dentist just gave it to me and they didn't gave me a brief on how to take care of it, and the things we should avoid for it to not break. It just accidentally snapped while I was cleaning it.

I also accidentally washed it in warm water, that it shrinked. Now that a few teeth has shifted due to the unprecedented growth of my wisdom teeth, there are remaining gaps, that I am desperate for a new retainer.

Please help and understand me, for we are just funded by my brother, and my parents have retired. I'm currently studying, so it'll be tough for my family to have another thing to worry about. Thank you very much
