Hello everyone!

Thank you for visiting my campaign and reading through our story. We deeply appreciate it!

I'm raising money on behalf of my fiancee - Vesela who needs a new professional oboe to continue her studies in National Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. She uses Sonora but its wood is cracked and limits the sound considerably.

Every musician knows that you can't get the most of your talent if you have a broken instrument. That's why we started saving money to buy a new one but we are unable to do it on time because the price for an oboe is higher than my annual salary.

We saved 1500$ up to now and we need to raise 9000$ more until her entry exams in June. I work and save money while she is studying but the deadline is too soon for us. We knew that she would need a new instrument when she goes to study at the Academy but we didn't expected the oboe to be broken so early. It surprised us!

All she wants is to continue her studies and to become even better oboist.

But in order to do this she needs a professional instrument to get the most of her capacity. Since 2016 she has played with Sonora.

Now she wants to buy a Marigaux or a Howarth.

The constant repair of her oboe and the difficulty of making the actual sound while playing have made us come to the conclusion that she needs a new one right now.

She has played the oboe for 8 years at a musical school in Burgas developing herself as a solo and orchestra musician. In 2019 she took first place at The International Competition for solo players held in Burgas, Bulgaria and many others scholarship and prizes. In 2017 she participated as a solo player at the Wittenberg Symphonic Orchestra. In 2018 she played solo at the “Bela Bartok Memorial House” and together with the student orchestra in Budapest, Hungary. Music is the way she expresses herself and she is very pleased to do it. If I have to name a musician who is hard-working, devoted, talented, passionate and a person who loves to play and bring joy to others this would be Vesela.

The video below is played on Sonora and you can't imagine how much effort one's have to put to make the sound that you hear out of the instrument. Professors and teachers from the Academy in Sofia, all great musicians and oboist, wonder how at all she is able to make such a soft sound out of her Sonora. But I will tell you because I have been watching her practicing day and night to get the perfect sound. I am so eager to see her playing with a new instrument. I'm very sad as her future husband to see that her oboe has to be repaired all of the time and still doesn't sound right. She desperately needs a new one before her exams in June. It is not necessary to be brand new because she will need time to get used to it and make it playable. A well-kept second hand professional oboe will do great work for her as well. It all depends on how fast we would gather the means to pay for it.

We hope that people would appreciate the talent and the hard work behind it and help us raise the amount for a Marigaux or a Howarth.

We understand that there is no free lunch and our desire is to send each donor an individual concert played by Vesela on the new oboe as a sign of gratitude.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated, and even if you can't afford to help, please pass on this news for more to hear so we can make this happen.
