Sixteen Bars is a performing arts education company whose goal is to provide the needs of the community of burgeoning theatre practitioners in the Philippines — artistic training and comprehensive education in music, acting, writing, dance, and other theatre-related fields — through activities such as masterclasses, workshops, and other unique educational opportunities.

Last June 2018, we were able to organize a masterclass with Brian Lowdermilk (one half of the popular New York-based musical theatre composing duo Kerrigan & Lowdermilk) to teach a song interpretation and song writing masterclasses, plus a bonus concert with new rising talents.

In August 2018, we were able to bring in Danny Rocco of Atlantic Acting School to teach an Acting Technique Masterclass.
These were all a success and a huge milestone for a non profit organization.

With hopes of continuing to bring in such great talents from Broadway greats, we would need a lot of help.

We wish to bring in music geniuses such as Natalie Weiss and Ben Fankhauser to teach vocal technique, music arrangements, and riffing masterclass and a concert with them with the intention of introducing new talents to the theater scene.

We are all about supporting and reaching out to aspiring thespians and it'd mean so much to us if you help us continue touching hearts and bring broadway to those who don't get the chance to experience it.

Funds will cover flight, accommodation and fees.
