Brittany’s Basketball Fund

We are writing on behalf of our daughter, Brittany Nicole Rodgers, in order to raise money for upcoming basketball tournaments. Brittany has been playing basketball since she was 5 years old following in the steps of her big brother Jerald Washington, Jr. As you know organized sports can be expensive, especially as children get older. We are asking for your assistance with whatever you can donate on behalf of our daughter Brittany. Brittany has a very bright future in basketball and we want to continue to allow her to participate in tournaments that will challenge her. Last year she received her first college questionnaires from two D1 colleges. We are scheduled to go to the following out of state tournaments: Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, New Orleans & San Diego.
About her team: South Texas Hoyas AAU Competitive Basketball Organization is a proud member of the Amateur Athletic Union. The South Texas Hoyas AAU program was formed in 2005 to provide an ongoing, Elite quality program for girls grade school through high school to compete in basketball at the highest level. Their goal is to provide a program for these young athletes that can consistently compete on a national level as well as provide fundamental excellence for as many athletes as possible. While their focus is mainly on positioning these student-athletes for entry into junior high & high school programs, their overall mission is Helping Our Youth Attain Scholarships & continuing their education to play basketball at the collegiate level.
