British Music Radio Debut Series

The idea is to encourage young artists (e.g. graduating from college) in performing British Music.  

We will seek to audition for 20 Debit Recitals in the next 12 months - soloists, duos, trios and quartets, they'll be encouraged to include lesser-known works not yet recorded.   The Recitals will be broadcast on BMR and in many cases we hope to enable them to do so before an invited audience at the University of Chichester.   The artists will have their travel paid, plus a small fee, and will also get a copy of the recording which could prove useful in gaining bookings, recording opportunities.   We also will use the material on future occasions.  So, where do YOU come in?    It's a small budget to cover travel, fees and organsing costs, it will total £11,400 and benefit up to 43 young artists.
