I have been a hair stylist for 31 years. My dream, starting in the early 90's, is to run a mobile business. Now that it is legal in Texas to run a mobile hair saloon, I can finally start bringing my skill to those who cannot make it up to my shop in Justin, Texas. I have clients cancel because of lack of child care, so I go to them when I can. My inspiration for Pit Stop Barber Shop and Parlor comes from my love of riding motercycles. Hair on Wheels is my own creation I want to develop. I also love doing hair for career days at schools, elderly homebound, and foster homes. I want to be able to be on two wheels more, and try to give back when I can. I came up with "Hair Parties", which works just like a tupperware party except when I leave, the ladies have new do's instead of plastic ware. I want to be able to do little girls birthday parties. I also would be able to come out to any type of fundraiser and do haircuts, with all funds going to the fundraiser. This way, I can help advertise myself, and help those in need. To get started, I need to get products, and update my tools. I would also like to start advertising as well. I never charge for the elderly who can't afford it. In our lovely town of Justin, they will bring you fresh produce from their gardens or some home made dish. I am not too proud to say I will work for food, but I am just looking to branch out and spread my name. Along the way, I want to help out other single mom's trying to get into the salon business. I am not looking to get rich, just looking for a way to help more of those folks that cannot afford to spend a fortune to get their hair done, and educate young single mom's and dad's that want to join the amazing world of beauty. Thank you for your support!
