Bringing Mylo home.

Mylo aka K-123 is a little girl dog who has been rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Thailand via the Soi Dog Foundation she was placed in the Khemarat Shelter ( basically a cattle holding pen)  with over 1000 other dogs. Due to disease , overcrowding and injury over 450 of these dogs have died since being placed in this shelter, Mylo is one of the lucky ones.

The initial costs of 300 Euro have been paid to secure her release and transfer to the Soi Dog Foundaton Shelter in bangkok 2012-06-17 where she will be seen by vets and be prepared for her adoption by me.

The cost to bring any of the rescued Soi Dog's into the UK is very expensive, £600-£800 is the standard price and that only gets the dog into the UK it doesn't get them where they need to go.I live in the North East of England so I will have to arrange further transfer for her which adds another £200-£300.

My friend is also adopting two rescued soi Dog's so as you can see things are going to get very expensive! We are not an organisation nor are we wealthy individuals, this is why we are asking for help to raise the funds to get these dogs to the UK.
