Campaign Story
In December of 2012, Samuel took a blind leap of faith and hopped a plane to the United States to earn his Psychology degree. On May 12, he will see that dream realized - with honors. He has worked diligently over the past five years, but not without personal cost. The last time he saw his family in Uganda was right before he stepped on the plane to leave home. We would love for Sam's family to celebrate with him as he graduates. Our money is tied up in paying for both Sam and Nick's educational costs, so we are unable to facilitate their travel. We are inviting you, friends and family, to help them get here.
These are the details:
- Sam's parents do not speak English so they need to be escorted by at least one of their sons; however, we would like for two of them to accompany their parents (relax, we could be asking for all 20 of Sam's siblings to come. Two is a good ratio.)
- Flight costs are approximately $1300-$1700 each
- Visa applications cost $160/person
