This was written by my Daughter Chante Neal!My name is Chante Neal, i'm 21 and I live in Minnesota, United States. I live here with my parents, 2 siblings and my grandparents Ellis and Pat also live here. I was born in England and moved to America in 2007, when I was 14, as my mum married my stepdad, who was in the United States Air Force. My Grandparents had already moved here to be closer the my Grandfathers siblings 2 years before that. I've always been close with all my family and I have created this page in the hope that I can help my younger cousin Qwainiesha come over to the united states to visit and meet her stateside family. Myself, my parents and grandparents travel to the UK as much as financially possible or if health issues arise, but my Aunt Lulu has not been able to bring Qwainiesha and her siblings to the US due to severe health issues and finacial restraints.Qwainiesha (Q as we call her) is 11 years old and suffers from multiple forms of epilepsy, she has all forms of seizure types that includes, Lennox Gaustaut Syndrome, Tonic Clonic, Myoclonic absences, partial complex and more.Q was born on Dec 1st 2003 a happy normal baby. She had her first seizure at 3 weeks and again at 10 months. By the time she was 3 yrs old she had spent an abnormal amount of time in the hospital and ER. She has been on many different medications, none of which helped.Q could have 350+ seizures per day and as a result the lack of oxygen to her brain during these then resulted in regression and learning difficulties, to the point that she could not feed herself properly and has to have additional help in school.Just one of the seizure types she has are drop seizures which resulted in a helmet having to be worn and being called horrible names in the street while being pushed in her disabled stroller. In 2013 Q who has been under Great Ormund Street Hospital in London UK for a while had a VNS implant fitted and  Qwainiesha also has Lennox Gaustaut Syndrome and her seizures are anywhere between 15 to 60 per day.which then will lead to a trip to the hospital.Q has 4 Brothers who are 16, 14, 9, and 7 all of these boys look after Q at times and their mum. Their mum, my aunt Lowanda (everyone calls her Lulu) is a single mother to these five children. She is the only caregiver in the household, while trying to deal with her own health issues. My aunt Lulu was diagonsed with severe uncontrolled diabetes in 2008 after the loss of a child. Although it is something that she has learned to deal with it has effected her ability to care for Q to her fullest at times. As her diabetes is so difficult to manage twice since her diagnosis she has on multiple occasions gone into DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis)Due to the fact that my Aunt Lulu is a single mother of five and the health issues of both her and my cousin Q, which means they would both need health coverage for the duration of their visit, it is extremely costly also the cost of emergency services if needed. I'm looking to help cover the cost of their airfare and health insurance so that Q and her siblings can get the chance to visit a side of the family that they've only seen in photos and to see the united states in reality, not just through skype. As well as the many family members here in Saint paul Qwainiesha has an Aunt in Texas who she has never been able to meet.Any help is much appreciated to get this family to the USA so they can meet all of their family. Many thanks in advance xx
