Bring Nicco Home

My husband and I have raised our grandson Nicco since the day he was born,he is now 7 years old.Back in 2015 Niccos mom moved away and signed a power of attorney for Nicco to legally stay with us for medical and educational needs.Niccos mom was more interested in chasing men with drug issues and men who would physically and mentally abuse her,the man she moved in with was all of these and he abused Nicco on a 4 day visit with his mom.Nicco is ADHD Autistic Spectrum and when we brought him home after his visit he told his counselor what happened and she called Social Services on Niccos mom and her boyfriend we were given guardianship of Nicco and we went through 2 years of court to make it permanent just so the Judge could turn around and place him in a home he has never known and with a man he is terrified of.We spent everything we had but Nicco asked us to please not give up on him and to keep fighting to get him back,he cried so hard when I told him he had to leave and our hearts are in a million pieces I mean who takes a child away from a home after 7 years and puts them with people who never cared about him?We are asking and begging for help from everyone and we never do this but its our last option.Please please help us as grandparents are overlooked for raising their grandchildren and its not fair that the system ruins lives like this.If you cant donate please share our story so we can maybe change some laws to protect grandchildren and the grandparents,we are not giving up and need help getting to the next court and to the Supreme Court if needed.Thank you all so much.
