Keep this car Going!!

   Hello Everyone! This is Randy Carruthers of Michigan. I am a single father rebuilding his life after going through a divorce in the summer of 2014. Rebuilding my life on my own ( I have my son on the weekends and during the summer ) is a slow process. Working extra hours at my current job, and looking for either part-time, or a better paying career, so that I can provide a better home for my son and myself. But, until that opportunity presents itself, funds are minimal and keep me afloat month to month. 

     I have just had my car's transmission rebuilt  thanks to the help of family and friends. However,  I am still having problems with my timing chain. This should be taken care as soon as possible so that I do not have to relive the months of January through April. Let me explain.....

    With the generous help of friends close to home, I was able to get to work so that I did not lose my job. Every other weekend I had to rely on my son's mother to bring him to me, and to pick him up. Because of the distance between our homes, asking her to continually make the drive twice a weekend, was starting to become a burden. A burden of gas and time that I did not want to lay upon her.   My son is my life. I talk to him every night on the phone before he goes to bed. And, when he is not here, I miss him terribly.     

        So, I am swallowing my pride and asking all of you out there for help. Please help me to keep my car running so that I can keep moving forward with the future....like finding a better career, hopefully going back to school soon,  and not fall back. Thank you for your time, your compassion, and generosity.
