Bring little Xavi back to his mummy

My American friend Mia got her son Xavi taken away by the Dutch child protection system. She is only allowed to see him 6 hours every 2 weeks! This is heartbreaking for Xavi and Mia. The Dutch system needs to bring Xavi back home to his mommy.

After the birth of her son Xavi the relationship with Mia and the father of Xavi started to fall apart. The unthinkable happened in June 2016 after a neighbour dobbed them in for having a loud discussion. When the police arrived memories of her violent childhood came up and triggered a loud overreaction from Mia's side towards the officers. Xavi was needlessly taken away by Dutch social services and since Mia was only allowed to see her son for 2 hours every two weeks under supervision. In the last months it got extended to 6 hours without supervision which is already a huge breakthrough.

Mia is a very kind soul, a fantastic yoga teacher and a loving mother to her beloved son. She runs her own studio in the West of Rotterdam since the end of 2015. Unfortunately with this heart-breaking situation she cannot focus on growing her Yoga business to make it flourish.

She needs the financial means to get back on her feet with moving the yoga studio to a more affordable location in Rotterdam and rent a little cosy apartment for herself. She currently lives at the studio in lack of financial stability. The Dutch child protection system expects her to have a stable income and an apartment to be able to live with her son again one day.

These two need each other. You can see the sadness in their eyes because they know it will end in a few hours and they have to wait another 2 weeks to hug each other again.

Please help end Mia's and Xavi's ongoing nightmare of tears by giving what you can to support them.

Already with 3, 5 or 10 EUR each you can help to bring these two back together and get a proper treatment for Xavi who was diagnosed autistic in the end of 2016. Having this condition he even more needs his mother as a rock in his life to give him warmth and stability.

The goal for 2018: Arranging reunification of Xavi with his mother, so they can rebuild a healthy and loving daily life and where Xavi can feel safe again and receive a proper treatment.
