Bring home Carly’s next forever friend

Almost two months ago, I lost my best friend. My first horse that I had trained by myself and my everything. Chip was a horse I had wanted since I was ten years old and I took it upon myself at 14 to give him the care he needed when no one else saw what I saw in him. We competed through three seasons and achieved many firsts together and won many times. I was planning to take him to college with me and be on the equestrian team for the scholarship opportunity, and many more future plans I had for him besides watching him grow old and happy as my best friend. It has been the most devistating experience of my life, but I have come across a horse on an Arizona racetrack that popped up on my feed and something is telling me that he needs me. I am desiring to retire him from racing, bringing him to my farm in Georgia, and beginning a new journey with him by working from the ground up to see what he is capable of and still get the full college team experience. I have ridden since I was four years old, and there is a large hole in my life that I am willing to try and fill again and create a partnership with this new horse. I am a senior in high school and I am currently working three jobs to pay for my car and other animals, and the issue I have run into is that the horse is required paid up front, and in order to pay that total it would take me up to 6 months of not longer, not guaranteed that he would even still be available. My wish is to raise enough money as quick as possible so I can purchase him, be able to pay for the vet check, have him shipped so he is able to retire from racing and give him a forever home with me. I have never in my life asked for money from anyone, but this really is something important to me.
