Dear Family and Friends,
We’re appealing to you and promoting a fundraiser campaign to help our brother – Alvin Baptista an Overseas Filipino Worker who is ‘STRANDED’ in Saudi Arabia. He is a SINGLE FATHER who sacrificed working abroad so his daughter Ashley would have a bright future but a tragedy happened just a few days before Christmas.
Alvin’s daughter Ashley got ran over by a car last December 19, 2016. She was brought to the hospital by the person who ran her over but she eventually died on December 20, 2016 because of critical injuries.
Alvin is in Saudi Arabia working as a construction painter and his employer would not unconditionally allow him to take an emergency leave and come home to attend his daughter’s wake and funeral. The employer has the following conditions:
1. Pay around 6,800 SAR or P90,000 recovery bond; AND
2. Buy his plane ticket amounting to 3,000 SAR or almost P40,000
Being a SINGLE FATHER he sends most of his salary for his daughter's needs. He only started working abroad last July 2016 (5 months to date) so he hasn't saved much money to cover these himself.
We need to raise a total of P130,000 and a few more thousands of pesos as pocket money for his bus trip from NAIA to Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines
It’s difficult to imagine how their family spent Christmas and they’re about to see the coming new year with the same predicament.
Alvin’s only wish is to see his daughter Ashley one last time before she is laid to rest.
We appeal for your help to raise the money Alvin needs so he can come home or if there’s a person or contact who can provide any form of assistance -legal, contacts or government help, Alvin, his family and friends would appreciate all your help. Any amount that comes from your heart would do.
Liking, sharing and tagging people in this post would also be a great help.
We honestly don’t have anything to offer you in return but the MOST HIGH will certainly remember your good deeds and bless your kind heart.
Please leave us a message if you wish to donate or offer any help.
God bless your hearts.
Happy New Year.
