Bring a Canadian Cartographer home! Support Jen’s flight to International Cartography Event in BC

GOAL:

This is a fundraiser to raise $1900 to cover Jennifer's trip to BC, Canada for a Cartography Conference where she will be sharing her passions with Canada. Anything helps!

Last week, Jennifer, a passionate Canadian Cartographer got an invite to share her passions at the Canadian Cartography Association in BC, happening this May 2019. This is an AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR JENNIFER! But she needs our help to get there.

Jennifer is talented, and passionate, but too humble to ask for help despite needing it! Let's Get Jen to Canadian Association on May 22nd 2019. It will be tragic to not have the CANADIAN CARTOGRAPHER sharing her passions. She lives her passion every day, but it is a startup and it does not run on high profits that can cover trips like this.

Let's help Jen out with her travel cost from UK to BC, Canada for this Cartography Opportunity! This is huge for her. Anything will help. Our goal is to raise $1900 for her travel cost alone, let's get Jen HOME for this great opportunity.

Background

Jennifer is a passionate Canadian Cartographer, who has dedicated her life to the arts of cartography, mapping around the globe. She started her journey as a cartographer at The Atlas of Canada, then went on to working at Melbourne, Australia at Lonely Planet as a senior cartographer. She has also provided training to cartographers around the world.

After facing sudden personal life changes, Jen returned home to Canada but found herself in a workforce with limited opportunities in Cartography. Jen still didn't give up Cartography. She rolled up her sleeve despite having to often explain what cartography meant. In 2016, she enrolled into business training program, and launched Inspirit Cartography to continue on her passions, and share her creations with the world.

Today, Cartography has led Jen to UK -where she currently resides to work on some projects. She continues to create custom maps, improve her own craft, and work alongside other cartographers but it's still project by project. Last week, Jen got invited to share her passions at the National Canadian Cartography Association. This is an AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR JEN! But she cannot make it without our help.
