Bridgehouse Shelter

Hi,

I would like to start a fund rasier within my community. We have a shelter by the name of  Bridge house

Shelter.  They are housing at least 80 single to large families who have no where to go. Theu just recently had a family of nine requesting to stay there. This is truly sad specially around Christmas. And not to be a warm loving home of their own. So, as spoke with the manager there , she was telling me that the average stay at the shelter is 90 days. Families who have children can stay a few more weeks. For every family that comes or single person they each need a 30 gallon tote to keep their personal items in. Blankets are needed and bath and wash clothes, food of any type. We usually receive a ham every year from our land lord and this year I decided to give the shelter the ham. I feel bad for the people there specially Christmas morning when there will probably not be any gifts to open. I would appreciate any funding that you would like to share for these families in need . Let's put some hope into their lives this Christmas which is only a few days away.  Of course the shelter will always need help, so I stepped up to give a hand . I am a joyous giver and love to help those in need. I apperciate any help. God Bless You
