US$2,948.00raised of $2,000.00 goal goal
A brick 4 kids is a project to help building 2 new school dormitories at Bright Medium School in Tanzania.
Most of the kids come from Loliondo and surrounding Masai community and half of them are orphans who lost their parents due to the ravages of HIV. This project is their only chance to receive a proper education, a safe place to stay and to get hot meals.
As you will see in the video, there is much needed but the priority is to build dormitories at the school. They are currently sharing a bed for 4, have to walk 10km a day to go to school and the organization can't take any more kids, having to refuse them as they have not enough space.
We've started producing bricks, but to keep going we need your help!
Please help us today, by giving as little as $4 a brick to give to more kids a chance to receive education and a safe place to sleep.

Who we are: Hi! We are Muriel and Darek. We've been traveling around the world for 9 months, it has been an amazing year and decided it was time to give back. So we are volunteering at Bright school in Loliondo - a project created by Macao organization - to help bring education to kids and Maasai community kids.
Where the project is based: Loliondo is a village very isolated in Tanzania. It is surrounded by beautiful and touristic national parks but no tourists stop here. There is no sealed road to get here, few infrastructures and the Maasai communities who live here are one of the poorest of the country. These tribes have traditions and cultural practices placing them at risk for HIV/AIDS. These practices include polygamy, female circumcision, and the inheritance of widows.
About the charity: MACAO is a charity organization started in 2003 as a dream of two people, Baraka and Juliana Eliud, who wanted to change lives of Massai children in the Loliondo Arusha, Tanzania. Their aim is to continue with the effective and sustainable education program for children, which has been now successfully running for 8 years. If you want to read more about the work done by Macao, please visit their website: http://www.macao-tz.org/
How much does it cost: the building of dormitories costs USD $48,278. As our volunteering will finish on October 23 (and based on the size of our network), we decided to fix a reasonable goal in order to contribute to the work done by Macao. We hope you will show us that we can achieved much more when we are all together!
Rewards
1 brick - a thank you message from the kids
10 bricks - your name on a brick
