Campaign Story
Hello All, My name is Brian Magnaye from Hillsboro, Oregon. Since 2012 I have been working on an LED project, its a one of a kind lighting, very inexpensive, longer lasting, and saves a lot of electricity becuase of its low power consumption (3watts). I currently have a patent pending for it. I have already put in ~$6,800 of my own money to get the patent search completed by a professional, a signed agreement with America Invent to market my idea to prospects and to provide me with a working prototype which has been completed and now have.
My Patent Pending (USPTO) provisional application expires on Sept 9 and it requires me to file a non- provisional patent application by Sept 8, 2014. I have patent attorneys that are currently helping me with preparing and filing the non-provisional application including the drawings and submitting it to goverment before the deadline.
Based on the time frame remaining for preparing this application, the total fees are as follows: Professional attorney’s fees for preparing and filing the non-provisional application: $7600; Plus Government filing fee $400 (microentity); Plus formal Drawings fees $300 (approximately $100 per page). Total: $8300 I currently have $3,500 saved but will need assistance for the remaining $4800.
10% of all future royalties and licensing agreement revenues will go towards charities in the Philippines and to those affected by the Typhoons and Hurricanes in the country.
Thank You Very Much, Your Donation is Greatly Appreciated.
