Brianna’s Gymnastics Fund Raiser

Brianna started rhythmic gymnastics training in Feb 2015, at the age of 8, as an extra activity at the Primary School she attended.
After a few months of training 1 hour a week, Brianna then joint the gymnastics club and began training an extra 10hours a week.
The extra training paid off and soon Brianna was excelling from level to level and achieving medals at each National Championship grading event.

Lev 2 National Championship 2015: Silver
Lev 3 National Championship 2016: Gold
Lev 6 Region 5 Competition 2017 (Namibia): Silver x2 (group medals)
Lev 6 National Championship 2018: Bronze
Lev 7 National Championship 2018: Gold

Lev 6 Region 5 Competition 2018 (RSA): Bronze (individual meda); Silver (group medal)

Brianna has trained with all the apparatus associated with rhythmic gymnastics: rope, hoop, ball and clubs.
In 2017 Brianna trained for group level 6 gymnastics and was chosen to represent the Zimbabwe Gymnastics Team at the Region 5 Competition that took place in Namibia in Dec 2017. Brianna competed in Lev 6 club group routine and the girls were placed second and achieved a silver medal. She also competed in the Aerobics Gymnastics Jnr team and they were placed second and achieved a silver medal.
In 2018 Brianna trained in Lev 6 & Lev 7 individual category and was chosen to represent Zimbabwe in Lev 6 individual category. She competed in 3 individual routines: 1 with ball apparatus, 1 with clubs apparatus & 1 free dance routine.
In 2018 the Region 5 Competition took place in Pretoria, South Africa from 1st to 4th Nov 2018.

This year, 2019 Brianna has been chosen to represent Zimbabwe as part of the Zimbabwe gymnastics group traveling to Austria in July (7^th to 13^th) to take part in the 16^th World Gymnaestrada. Follow the link for more information: www.wg2019.at

Gymnastics Zimbabwe took part in Gym For Life in 2013 winning a Silver medal and 2017 winning a Gold medal and our first Gymnaestrada in 2015 in Helsinki Finland.

There is no group sponsorship and parents have to cover full costs on their own.
