Brianna’s Challenge

To all family and friends of Brianna and/or myself, I am challenging all to reach into your wallets and help fund Brianna's next phase of treatments for her chronic Lyme disease. Brianna started experiencing debilitating sypmtoms in 2008. It took countless doctor appointments and lots of testing before she was finally diagnosed diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2011. At that point she was completely bedridden and suffering extreme pain , fatigue , and it was causing severe neurological problems like loss of speech and interruption of thought processes. She was literally on her death bed. After much research on treatment she started on extremely painful and expensive treatments. After 4 years of treatments and a lot of money spent, Brianna was finally feeling good. Thru this process Brianna has been on her parents insurance but ,they(the insurance companies)  don't recognize Lyme disease in it's chronic state. Then she was rear-ended in a car accident by a texting driver which started the whole process to erupt again. So far Brianna's parents have spent about $85,000 out of pocket and, as you can imagine, funds are getting tight to continue treatment. Without treatment Brianna has only a 5 year life expectancy. We are hopeful new treatments will slow the pregression of the disease. THERE IS NO CURE! Please help us! If you can't help with a monetary gift then possibly you can help with rides to and from treatments. Brianna will be unable to drive thru this process as it is much like chemotherapy because it makes her really sick. Thank you and God bless.
